Yoseph Dalia is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist who completed an accelerated 6 year BS/MD + MBA program. He then joined the Harvard Medical School dermatology program where he served as an attending physician in the Multi-Ethnic Skin Clinic before joining the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His interests are in diseases that disproportionately afflict skin of color, spatial transcriptomics, and technology in medicine. He is dedicated to improving healthcare policies and systems to better treat underserved patient populations.

President / CEO

Valarie Molyneaux is a community leader with a strong commitment to education, advocacy, and service. A UMass Boston graduate and active member of the NIH Coalition, MassBio, and the Mass Rare Disease Council, she also contributes as an external patient board member at UMass Chan Medical School and a Harvard University patient/doctor speaker. Her work spans healthcare advocacy, humanitarian efforts, and community building, earning recognition including the MLK Community Builder Award, Commonwealth of Massachusetts Heroin Award, and Incyte Innovator and Ingenuity Awards. She is also a wife, mother, author, poet, educator, coach, church deacon, and notary dedicated to advancing equity and patient-centered care.

State Representative, 14th Suffolk District

Bio: After graduating Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a degree in Political Science, Rob Consalvo started his career in public service nearly 30 years ago as an aide to Massachusetts Senator Edward M. Kennedy.  Rob began as an intern in the Senator’s office and later held the positions of staff assistant and press assistant working out of Senator Kennedy’s offices in Washington, DC and Boston.  Rob also served as a Legislative Aide in the office of Massachusetts State Representative Angelo M. Scaccia.

Rob’s experience in public service inspired him to launch his own bid for public office.  In 2002, he was elected to the Boston City Council in a special election.  He served 12 years as the City Councilor from District 5, which encompasses the neighborhoods of Hyde Park, Readville, Roslindale and Mattapan.  During his time on the Boston City Council, Rob chaired the committees on Public Safety, Housing and Ways and Means.  

After serving on the Boston City Council, Rob joined the administration of Mayor Martin J. Walsh and became Deputy Director for the City of Boston’s Boston Home Center, which is instrumental in executing the city’s housing and homeownership policy.  Rob also worked as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Superintendent of the Boston Public Schools where he oversaw School Committee relations, Intergovernmental Relations, Interdepartmental Relations and constituent services as well as many other special projects.

Today, Rob serves as the State Representative for the 14th Suffolk District representing the Boston neighborhoods of Hyde Park, Roslindale, Readville and West Roxbury.  He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Committee on Rules as well as he serves on the Committee on Housing and the Committee on Labor and Workforce Development. He also serves as a Trustee on the City of Boston's Neighborhood Housing Trust, which he also did while serving as a City Councilor.

Rob is the proud father of Amanda, Anthony and Austin and lives in Hyde Park with his children and wife Michelle.

Patient Advocate 

Bio: Melissa Leeolou is a patient advocate who was diagnosed with psoriatic disease in infancy. She has volunteered with the National Psoriasis Foundation for over 15 years, where her work has centered on improving access to care, particularly through prior authorization and step therapy reform initiatives. She has collaborated with state governor’s health councils to develop and advance patient-centered policies, advocated for federal legislation on Capitol Hill, and testified at FDA Patient-Focused Drug Development sessions to improve nationwide access to medications. Melissa will graduate from Stanford School of Medicine in 2026 and begin dermatology residency at Stanford in 2027.

Assistant Director, Administrative Simplification Policy

Advocate at the American Medical Association (AMA) with nearly nine years of experience advancing regulatory reform to improve the physician experience and patient access to care. Holds degrees from Middlebury College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, with a background in bioethics, policy, and government affairs. Leads AMA’s FixPriorAuth campaign, a grassroots initiative and public facing website that raises awareness of prior authorization barriers, amplifies patient and physicians voices, and drives efforts to reduce administrative burden and eliminate unnecessary care delays.

Jennifer Bui is a Clinical Pharmacist at Mass General Brigham Specialty Pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University and completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Boston Medical Center. She has been with MGB Specialty Pharmacy since 2023.

In her current role, Jen primarily supports dermatology clinics, focusing on specialty medication access. Her responsibilities include navigating prior authorizations, providing patient counseling, and delivering clinical support to optimize patient outcomes. She is also actively involved in pharmacy leadership initiatives and serves on the Clinical and Informatics Committee, contributing to efforts aimed at enhancing clinical operations and patient management programs.

Avery LaChance, MD, MPH, is a dermatologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she serves as the dermatology department’s Director of Health Policy and Advocacy and Director of the Connective Tissue Disease Clinic.  She graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in Japanese Studies and received her MD, MPH from University of Connecticut School of Medicine.  During her MPH year, she drafted legislation to ban tanning for minors in CT and then served as a key advocate for the bill, which passed and was signed into law that year. Dr. LaChance completed an internship in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  During this year, she also completed a six-week internship at the Office of the Surgeon General, where she worked on federal skin cancer prevention initiatives in the wake of the Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Prevent Skin Cancer.  Subsequently, she trained in dermatology at Harvard Medical School, and in her final year, she served as the chief resident.  Dr. LaChance is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and New England Dermatological Society.  She is a member of committees of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as the Massachusetts Medical Society. Dr. LaChance is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, where she teaches medical students, residents, and fellows and conducts research on connective tissue disease and health policy.

Ronna Wallace is Principal of Wallace and Associates Consulting, LLC, a government affairs and strategic consulting firm focused exclusively on health care.  She is the Lobbyist for the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, as well as several other physician specialty societies.  Ms. Wallace is the former Research Director of the Joint Committee on Health Care, now the Joint Committee on Public Health.
