Claire Tinkler
DTAD Chair
School: University of Louisville School of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2028
Claire Tinkler is a second-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She is originally from Northern Kentucky and attended Centre College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2023. She is the current UofL SPOTS (Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students) lead, focused on educating high school students on the importance of sun protection. She is excited to serve as this year’s Dermatology Trainee Advocacy Day Chair for the state of Kentucky. She is passionate about expanding access to healthcare around the state and educating trainees on how to best serve as advocates for their future patients.

Jacqueline Leon
School: University of Kentucky College of Medicine Bowling Green Campus
Anticipated graduation: 2027
Jacqueline Leon is a third-year medical student at the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Medicine Bowling Green campus. She is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended Texas Christian University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish in 2023. This is Jacqueline’s third year participating in Kentucky’s Dermatology Trainee Advocacy Day, and she served as the 2024-2025 KY DTAD Chair. She volunteers for the UK Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students program, and she is interested exploring different avenues to provide patient-centered care in the future.

Tenley Soergel
School: University of Louisville School of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2029
Tenley Soergel is a first-year medical student at the University of Louisville and a member of the leadership committee for Dermatology Training and Advocacy Day. She volunteers with Skin Smart Youth and SPOTS, teaching students from elementary through high school about sun protection, acne prevention, and sports-related skin safety. She is passionate about health education, patient advocacy, and expanding access to high-quality care.

Lilia Terrell
School: University of Louisville School of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2029
Lily Terrell is a first year medical student at ULSOM hoping to pursue a career in dermatology. She is from Louisville, KY and received her B.A. in Biochemistry with a Pre-medical Studies Co-major from Miami University (OH) in May 2025. On campus she is involved in various interest groups, Phi Delta Epsilon and Skin Smart Youth. Off campus she is an ambassador for Home of the Innocents and frequently volunteers at Barren Heights. In her free time she enjoys running, reading and painting.

Cooper Parks
School: University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2028
Cooper Parks is a second year medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He is the current SPOTS (Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students) student chair as he and his fellow classmates work to educate elementary students on the importance of sun protection. His passion for dermatology stems from his family’s experience with skin cancer, motivating him to give back by promoting prevention, advancing patient education, and positively impacting the lives of those he will serve.

Alicia Fields
School: University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2026
Alicia Fields is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Kentucky. Prior to medical school, she practiced as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, having earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University. During medical school, Alicia completed a research fellowship and authored several publications. She has presented her work at national healthcare conferences and numerous research showcases. Deeply committed to advocacy, she led initiatives focused on skin cancer prevention and chaired a first-of-its-kind advocacy event in Kentucky. She authored policy adopted by the Kentucky Medical Association House of Delegates promoting sun-safe behaviors in children and continues to advocate for a bill introduced to the Kentucky General Assembly that would allow students to carry and self-apply sunscreen while at school. A respected leader in her community, she is the immediate past president of Daviess Community Hospital's Foundation Board. Alicia is passionate about mentorship and enjoys guiding students interested in health professions, especially first-generation students and those from rural communities.

Nora Habib
School: University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2029
Nora Habib is a first-year medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine — Northern Kentucky campus. She is passionate about pursuing a career in dermatology, with particular interests in improving access to dermatologic care in rural communities, advancing research on disease patterns in patients with skin of color, and expanding tele-dermatology outreach. Outside of medicine, Nora enjoys cooking, heated Pilates, journaling, and spending time with family, especially her nephews. She is also dedicated to community engagement and advocacy through initiatives including her 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity known as Miles for Love Corp.

Sarisha Lohano
School: University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Anticipated graduation: 2029
Sarisha Lohano is a first-year medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She currently serves as the medical student board member for the Lexington Medical Society (LMS) and as the LMS liaison for the American Medical Association UKCOM chapter. Sarisha is passionate about advocacy and increasing access to care. She is excited to participate in Dermatology Trainee Advocacy Day and looks forward to learning more about how physicians can advocate for patients and the field of dermatology.
